The stallholders

The stallholders at Ayrshire Craft Market are varied: some are franchisees, some make the products themselves by hand; for some it is a business, for others is it a hobby. What the stallholders have in common is a passion for their products, good quality items and a desire to share their enthusiasm with their customers.

The Market was started when a group of crafters and market stall holders agreed that as we all have such unique products to sell and that searching for different events can be time consuming, we would create an event of our own in Kilmarnock. This gives local businesses the chance to sell items and to advertise on a monthly basis, and spread the word about their good quality products that are a little different from usual.

The Market no longer runs regular events of its own, but does occasionally block book space at other events to allow crafters to attend them.
